A high-profile boutique architecture practice is offering a diverse studio manager position, ideal for a motivated candidate capable of multitasking across a broad spectrum of responsibilities. This includes managing the team, overseeing office services, preparing project proposals, maintaining records, processing invoices, payroll, and HR functions. Within their spacious and light-filled studio setting, this practice comes with an established and reputable name across multi-residential and commercial office spaces, entertainment, and hospitality projects.
Role & Responsibilities Coordination and preparation of new business fees and EOI tender proposals (including liaison with required consultants) Weekly reporting to Directors, and leading team meetings discussing staff scheduling, budgets, and sharing knowledge Utilisation, maintenance, and coordination of system software updates in Deltek, as required Oversight of day-to-day business operations, including IT, hardware, software programs, printers, staff memberships, and CPD events Develop and streamline work processes, including the introduction of new programs and software Building and enhancing client relationships in collaboration with Directors Maintenance of company branding and marketing efforts, including folio photography, coordination of website updates, design awards, press articles and other marketing opportunities Recruitment & staff management, including payroll management Management and Preparation of monthly financial reports – debtors, creditors, cash flow Reconciliation of General Ledger and Bank accounts Online payments and cash flow Coordination of travel arrangements and other ad hoc duties and administrative support
Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of Deltek and MYOB systems preferred Knowledge of InDesign mandatory Strong interpersonal skills for effective engagement with staff, clients and consultants Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Possess or be willing to obtain and maintain BAS registration
