General Summary
We are seeking a visionary problem solver with a passion for innovation, user centric design, and process-oriented thinking. Join our dynamic Innovations team as a Studio UI/UX Designer! Reporting to the UI/UX Design Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in reimagining our engaging digital ventures. Work alongside a dedicated product team to craft unparalleled digital experiences for our patients. Collaborate with research experts, development masters, platform architects, and product managers. Essential Functions:
Human-Centered Design: Frame problems, uncover patterns, discover opportunities, and visualize possibilities using human-centered design approaches.UX Design: Craft high-quality user experiences by focusing on visual design, interaction, information architecture, research, usability, accessibility, and motion design.Transformative Ideas: Convert strategic directives into captivating and fully designed prototypes for a variety of digital products. Design System Architecture: Collaborate with us to organize, manage, and maintain the WellSpan design system. This effort will support scaling our design work to larger projects and ensure consistent brand and user experiences across all platforms.General Design: Assist and lead general design projects, including slide decks, icons, digital signage and any other needs while ensuring all outputs meet brand standards and project requirements.Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with teams and leadership to solve problems and enhance user experiences within our digital ecosystem.Data-Driven Decisions: Gather user feedback and analytics to guide and influence your design choices.Iterate & Validate: Apply design thinking methods to iterate through concepts that can be tested and validated.Expert Input: Provide expert UX input to build the optimal user experience and support the team throughout the build, testing, and implementation phases.Communicate & Inspire: Share your ideas effectively with strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.Continuous Learning: Stay curious and continuously learn about the intersection of people, process, technology, and business.Lead, Motivate & Develop: Set objectives, manage performance, and adhere to deadlines while motivating yourself and others.Other Tasks: As a small but highly capable team, we often need to step in and support various tasks as required. Minimum Experience: 3+ years as a UX practitioner in highly collaborative environments.Skills: Proficiency in design methods, design systems, interaction design, information architecture, user research, visual design, prototyping, and/or content design. While web development experience is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged.Software: Figma experience strongly preferred; Adobe XD and Sketch experience considered. Education: A two-year degree is required, but a four-year degree is preferred.Expertise: Applicable visual design and creative experience.Bonus Points: Training in user experience design, computer science, information sciences, psychology, human factors, or human-computer interaction. Proficiency in at least one, ideally two, UX disciplines such as Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Visual Design, Content Strategy, UX Research, or Product Design.Benefits Offered:
