Drybar Highland is looking for a ROCKSTAR to join our team.
The Shop Educator will be responsible for coaching new and existing stylists on the Drybar’s signature blowout techniques, product knowledge, customer service, as well as growing the Drybar client subscription. You will be an integral part of the Drybar team and will contribute to the success of the shop by ensuring all stylists are delivering consistent and exceptional experience to our guests.
We are looking for a rockstar hair stylist educator who:
Has a preferred minimum of 1 year experience as a hairstylist or cosmetologist trainer or educator in the beauty industry in a hair salon, barber shop, or spa environment (but don’t let that deter you if you know this is the job for you!)Holds a current and valid state Cosmetology license in IndianaIs Self motivated & Exudes excellent leadership skillsIs passionate about teaching and helping their team growStrives for high hair quality and always ensuring the Drybar standards are exudedHas a proven track record of stellar customer service - customers love you!Having a POSITIVE attitude & mindset are a must! Set the right example for your team and is willing to take the lead, jump in where your team is needed and is focused to growing the businessHas strong organizational skills and can drive a very positive, learning and development focused cultureCan pivot easily with finesse in even the most difficult moments - Multi-task with easeMeet with your stylist team to foster great culture and provide support where neededWorks closely with the Manager and Leadership team to provide operational updates

Responsibilities Train and coach new and existing stylists on Drybar’s signature blowout techniques, product knowledge, and customer experienceEnsure the team is meeting and exceed daily, weekly and monthly 5 star reviewsConduct weekly training sessions to ensure that all stylists are up-to-date on the latest techniques, products, and trendsFacilitate one-on-ones (client feedback)Assist Stylists on the floor by shampooing, finishing with hot tools, and coaching in the moment to encourage efficient timingTrack and report on key metrics related to shop performanceAttend and participate in all company-wide training and development programsUphold our core values and perform other duties as assignedAttend local schools and career fairs for recruitingEnsuring the customer experience exceeds the Drybar standards Ensure clients are rebooking and helping with the retention of our clients QualificationsLicensed Indiana Cosmetology License
