You will ensure the quality and accuracy of content across some of the most iconic brands in the Lifestyle and Wellness space, including Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health, Prima, Red, Runner’s World, and Women’s Health.
In this role, you will assist the Deputy Chief Subs and Group Chief Sub in managing the subbing and production process from copy to press. You’ll be responsible for sub-editing and fitting layouts, meticulously fact-checking, and second-reading pages, while ensuring all content meets our high standards for tone, clarity, and accuracy.
You will craft compelling copy in keeping with house styles, and where necessary, rewrite and improve flow, enhancing readability and filling any gaps in the copy. You will liaise with Marketing, Digital, and Subscriptions teams to ensure all pages meet their specific requirements, and you’ll collaborate closely with the Group Chief Sub-editor to flag any issues or challenges.
ABOUT YOU
Experience on a consumer title is desirable. Experience using InDesign and CMS. Accuracy and attention to detail. Meticulous and organised. Calm under pressure. Capable of juggling several tasks at once. Excellent problem solver. Good initiative.
