MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.   Must have one or more years of management experience in a high volume, fast paced area.  Must have a minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience and knowledge of TS16949, and understanding of the kaizen system.  Must have good organizational, time management and communication skills, have the ability to multi-task, a positive attitude, be self-motivated, have an acceptable attendance record and a clear understanding of company goals and objectives.  Must be able to communicate with support groups and customers on scheduling priorities, have a good understanding of DMMI policies and procedures and be comfortable giving and receiving constructive criticism.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing multiple tasks simultaneously including direct and indirect managing of associates, meeting goals and objectives through continuous improvement activities, completion of daily paperwork and daily audits of area processes, and analysis of data to improve the processes.  Must be able to assume daily tasks of managing the area in the Team Leader’s absence and fill in for associates who are absent.  Prefer someone who has a clear understanding of Microsoft Office applications, and good troubleshooting skills.
