THE WORK
This position will be responsible for supporting the Mission Systems and Weapons (MSW) Market Segment and the Next Generation Solutions (NGS) Submarket Segment. As a Subcontracts Administrator, the preferred candidate will be responsible for preparing subcontract solicitation packages including statements of work, specifications, and terms and conditions.

The preferred candidate will develop proposal evaluation criteria, conduct bidders' conferences, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate and award subcontracts. In addition, the candidate will be responsible to maintain and administer resulting subcontracts by coordinating additions, deletions and modifications.

This position will be responsible to support the NGS Submarket particularly the Long Range Fires Program. The candidate will have the responsibility to manage 1-3 Major Subcontractors carrying complexity levels 1-3. This role will require the management of Subcontractor deliverables, problem resolution, second source identification and qualification activities for those subcontracts managed directly but also coordination of problem resolution of material procurements via Northern Material Acquisition Center. Engagement with other functions such as Program Management, Operations, Supplier Quality and Engineering will be a major part of your daily responsibilities.

This position will also be required to support proposal activities in the pursuit of new NGS business as well as new pursuits across the MSW organization.

Experience pertaining to P2P, SCNAV, COS, GenBOE, RPMS, ROADS, EPDM, SIE, PMM, StOPs, and CPOT is preferred but not required.

Travel may be required, up to 25%.

Basic Qualifications:
• 1-3 years min experience in Procurement or Subcontracts Administrative roles, experience in leading major Subcontracts and member of Subcontract Management Teams

• Strong subcontracts administration/organization/ management skills, P2P fluent with and ability to execute complex projects

• Ability to develop comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) and to manage SDRL's (Subcontract Data Required Line Items)

• Experience with managing proposals that require cost and pricing data and commercial item determination and reviews through EPP.

• FAR / DFAR contracting experience

• Ability to analyze proposals to verify accuracy, completeness and compliance
Desired Skills:
• Experienced in Subcontracts / Purchase Order Closeout
• Ability to evaluate and recommend process improvements
• Problem-solving skills at both detail and high levels
• Ability to work autonomously with suppliers and customers
• Proven relationships across business functions to drive results
• EVMS certified and proven experience
• Technical or Business degree
• Working knowledge of various contracting types (Firm Fixed, Price, Cost Plus, Incentive Fee, Award Fee, T&M, etc.,.)
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art technology and technology providers
• Proven problem solving and negotiation skills
• Solid interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
• Results oriented and ability to adapt to change
• LM's CAM and Green Belt experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,500 - $119,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $55,100 - $105,800. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
