Opportunity:
Ventia is seeking a skilled Subcontract Coordinator Team Lead to manage and coordinate the subcontractor management in the delivery of services under the AGFMA contract. This role involves overseeing the full subcontract lifecycle, from contract development and establishment to ongoing performance monitoring and administrative support, ensuring compliance and alignment with contract objectives.
The Subcontract Coordinators will report directly to the Subcontract Coordinator Team Lead, who will provide guidance and leadership to ensure the successful execution of subcontractor management processes.
This is a permanent full-time role, based at our AGFMA head office in Wakefield Street, Adelaide CBD, working Monday to Friday. You will ensure Ventia meets its contractual obligations and maintains a compliant, effective supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate day-to-day activities of the Subcontractor Coordinator Team, managing team performance and escalating concerns to the Subcontract Manager. Ensure subcontractor engagement aligns with Ventia policies, head contractor requirements, and regulatory compliance, working closely with Procurement, Commercial, and Operations teams. Support the development of contracts, pricing, and Statements of Work (SOW) alongside Operations teams. Monitor subcontractor performance, compliance, and engagement; maintain accurate vendor records in SharePoint and Rapid Global and resolve any performance issues or disputes. Manage subcontractor communications, address inquiries, and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on strengthening subcontractor relationships. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute to the planning and execution of annual subcontractor meetings, focused on risk profiles and performance evaluations.
Skills and Experience:
Tertiary or trade qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g., construction, facilities management, or business management). Knowledge of construction/facilities management, project, and program control principles (e.g., budgeting, cost management, compliance). Demonstrated experience in managing subcontractor performance, resolving disputes, and organising annual subcontractor meetings based on risk profiles. Strong focus on subcontractor relations, performance management, and collaboration with internal teams to drive continuous improvement. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in managing subcontractor disputes and facilitating meetings or performance evaluations.
