Subcontracts Administrator (SUBK-2024-21429):
Bowhead seeks to network with a Subcontracts Administrator for a future opportunity to provide support for the preparation of solicitations, negotiation of Subcontractor proposals, and subcontracts. This position requires knowledge and hands-on experience in government contracting methods and applicable procurement laws and regulations, including but not limited to FAR, DFAR, AFAR and other agency supplements. Strong business acumen and the ability to work subcontracts in accordance with company policies and customer requirements is required. Responsible for building and maintaining dependable, quality relationships with internal and external customers in support of the UICGS business objectives.

ResponsibilitiesJob Duties include but are not limited to:
Create subcontract solicitations from customer requirements and/or solicitations after analyzing which requirements flow down from the prime;Analyze and estimate price proposals utilizing various cost and price analysis techniques; andNegotiate terms and conditions, specifications/statement of work, price, date of delivery and other contractual and licensing provisions with subcontractors.Qualifications

Bachelors Degree highly preferred5-8 years of prior relevant experience government contractNCMA Certifications desiredIntermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Ability to manage multiple priorities, excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and team building techniques in a diverse and dynamic environment. Requires day-to-day interface with company management and staff as well as senior management of suppliers, team members and subcontractors. Ability to work a high volume of relatively complex work independently with minimal oversight while managing multiple priorities and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction is essential.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position; however, candidates must be able to successfully pass a background check. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required. Bowhead reserves the right to change this requirement if necessitated by business needs or contractual obligations.
