Subcontracts Procurement Analyst , GPS (Government & Public Services)
Position Summary

Reports to the PSBI Procurement Manager within the GPS Contracts & Procurement organization. Acts as an IT procurement advisor for the Government and Public Services Practice (GPS) to drive business strategy and results. Advises client delivery teams on appropriate procurement relates strategy. Executes various activities related to procurement of software, hardware and other commodities as needed for the Government & Public Services (GPS) practice. Reviews software and reseller terms and conditions between Suppliers and Deloitte to identify and mitigate negotiation risks and notifies the PSBI Procurement Manager.

What You Will Do:

Oversee critical and complex competitive bidding process, conduct routine analyses, including price/cost analysisUse proven sourcing strategies to support business clients’ requirements for software, hardware and other commodities as needed.Provide proposal support to GPS Deloitte Proposal Teams as needed for software, hardware and other commodities to include advising in the development of the bill of materials.Interact professionally, using highly developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on Customer oriented servicesStrategically manages supplier relationshipsMonitors supply markets in key categories. Understands supplier diversity program and monitors latest trends in industry associations and diverse supplier community. Receives field inquiries from suppliers and connects them with appropriate internal stakeholders.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degreeDemonstrated experience in negotiating, and leveraging value added reseller agreementsDemonstrated proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointStrong consultative and communication skillsDemonstrated ability work effectively work collaboratively with teams.Ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentMust be legally authorized to work in the United Stated without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

Minimum 2-3 years of buying of software and hardware.Demonstrated experience purchasing software or SaaS solutions, and other IT related products.Deltek Costpoint experience preferred

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $54,500.00 - $100,300.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
