**Kadiak, LLC,** a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to support **Kadiak** and our government customer in the Metro DC area. **This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.** _This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity._

Kadiak LLC, a subsidiary of Koniag Government Services, is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert to support various projects related to bioscience, records management, or other specialized domains. This role requires a strong academic background, preferably a bachelor’s degree, and at least three years of relevant experience in a bioscience or records management-related field. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, the ability to abstract and verify data, and the capability to develop and implement file plans for records management.
**Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:**
**The Subject Matter Expert will be responsible for:**
+ Provide subject matter expertise and guidance in areas related to bioscience, records management, or other specialized domains relevant to the project requirements.
+ Depending on the project position, either:
+ Abstract data from biologic applications into an Oracle or Access database and verify the accuracy and completeness of the data and data entry processes.
+ Develop and implement new file plans for records management, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
+ Collaborate with project teams, FDA user organizations, and technical staff to understand requirements, provide insights, and ensure successful project execution.
+ Serve as an alternate to the Project Manager, providing support and guidance as needed.
+ Conduct research, analysis, and documentation related to project requirements, technical specifications, and industry standards.
+ Participate in project meetings, discussions, and decision-making processes, contributing subject matter expertise and recommendations.
+ Identify potential risks, issues, or areas for improvement within the project scope and propose mitigation strategies or process enhancements.
+ Provide training and knowledge transfer to project team members, ensuring a consistent understanding of project objectives and technical requirements.
+ Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in the relevant subject matter areas, and recommend their adoption when appropriate.
+ Contribute to the development of project documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
**Requirements:**
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required) in a relevant field, such as bioscience, records management, or a related discipline.
+ Ability to obtain a Public Trust
**Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bioscience or records management-related field.
+ Education and experience can be combined to satisfy the requirement.
+ In-depth knowledge and expertise in the relevant subject matter area(s), such as bioscience, records management, or other specialized domains.
+ Ability to abstract data from various sources and verify its accuracy and completeness.
+ Proficient in using database management systems, such as Oracle or Access, and data entry tools.
+ Strong understanding of records management principles, file plans, and relevant regulations and best practices.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
**Desired Skills and Competencies:**
+ Experience in a government or regulated environment, with knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
+ Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
+ Knowledge of data privacy and security protocols.
+ Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
+ Ability to interpret and apply contractual requirements and industry standards.
+ Experience in developing and delivering training programs or knowledge transfer sessions.

**Working Environment & Conditions**
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
