The Subject Matter Expert III is responsible for designing, developing, and testing solution to solve technical problems.

Develops, designs and runs tests on aircraft, space vehicles and related component  systems applying engineering principles and techniques.Design and develop space vehicles, satellites and/or relate hardware or systems.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or chain of command.

Education

A BS/BA degree in engineering, math or science

Experience

A minimum of 30 years of professional experience, with expert domain knowledge in specific engineering disciplines or specific expertise in spacecraft systems.  Manages development projects and provides leadership to engineering teams.

License, Cert or Registration

Current drivers’ licenseProof of U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
