Submarine Towed Systems Program Analyst
Amentum is hiring a Program Analyst in the DC Area. **Program Analyst Responsibilities Include:** + Performing a variety of programmatic assignments for planning and participating in Informal Performance Assessment Report (IPAR) and Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPAR) technical reviews + Providing inputs into Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA) technical meetings to ensure IMA personnel are aware of program office Towed Systems developments. + Participating in Warfare Center task reviews, In-Service Reviews, and Joint Program Reviews to ensure collaboration within the Towed Systems community and lead oversight of the spare’s delivery schedule for all Towed Array contracts. + Providing feedback and recommendations on submarine Towed Systems and Arrays technical issues, lead Request for Variance (RFV) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) monitoring for Towed Systems contracts, and other relevant planned and ADHOC support as required. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Ten (10) years of job-related/towed array engineering and/or operational experience. + Five (5) years of DoD acquisition program experience + Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance. + Expert level experience in drafting and reviewing CPARs, IPARs, and Major Automated Information System (MAIS) Annual Reports (MAR) + Experience with the operations of Towed Array Management System in tracking Arrays and Modules + Exellent written and oral communication skills and proficient in MS Teams + Experience with DoD acquisition submarine, shipbuilding and/or related systems programs + Knowledge in DoD Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regulations and policies + Ability to evaluate all official contract file documentation to determine the incorporation of meeting the FAR standards + High level expertise/experience with MS Office, particularly Power Point, Word and Excel + Understanding and hands-on experience in the development of purchase requests for different contract types and various program funding appropriations + Ability to work well in an agile and collaborative work environment + Must be able to work in a hybrid environment at the Washington Navy Yard **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with Navy/NAVSEA programs and combat systems, including development and fielding + Skilled in communicating findings and program recommendations, both verbally and written + Understanding of the Submarine Acoustic Systems lifecycle and terminology/acronyms + Experience with SPS + Experience with Navy ERP + Certified acquisitions specialists ie. Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting Officer’s Representative (FAC-COR), Federal Acquisition Certification for Contracting (FAC-C), or Federal Acquisition Certification for Project Managers (FAC-PM) **Compensation & Benefits** HIRING SALARY RANGE: $115,000 - $160,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
