The Hartford's Central Recovery Operations Team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as an Auto Subrogation Uninsured Motorist Analyst.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for establishing liability disposition on subrogation files.
• Responsible for the evaluation and negotiation of auto recoveries in a manner
consistent with corporate claim policies and procedures, and statutory,
regulatory and ethics requirements
• Establish negotiation and disposition strategies to achieve appropriate and
cost-effective claim outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with internal and external reporting requirements.
• Demonstrate professionalism and establish credibility when explaining the
investigation process to our customers.
• Accurately assess collectible damages.
• Operating within a team environment to maximize the team’s overall recovery
results.
Qualifications:
• College degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1 year minimum of Auto Claim Handling experience required.
• Liability experience preferred, but not required.
• Claim Adjusting license to handle claims in all 50 states preferred.
• Basic understanding of Auto adjusting principles required.
• Strong negotiation and investigative skills.
• Must have the ability to perform in a high-volume work environment and a
proven high level of performance and achievement.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, strong
computer/automation skills and strong customer service skills.
• Use critical thinking skills to gather information, apply sound reasoning, draw
appropriate conclusions, and make sound decisions based on a mixture of
analysis, experience, and judgment.
• Must be meeting performance and metric goals in your current role.
This role can be Hybrid or Remote as aligned with the Hartford's Return to Office initiative:
• This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.
As a condition of your employment, you must obtain and maintain a State Adjuster's License to process Property & Casualty Insurance Claims in the states supported by your office. Continued employment with The Hartford is contingent upon the successful passage of the Licensing exam(s) within 30 business days from the completion of the licensing training.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
