Subrogation Manager

A Day in the Life:

This Subrogation Manager oversees the examining, investigating, billing, and collection of all damage cases.  This leadership role reviews and streamlines processes and programs to maximize claim collections.  This role also partners with other departments to quickly research and resolve escalated Executive and Customer Care complaints.

We expect the salary range to be $78,000; the actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience. 

What You’ll Do:

Lead a team of Examiners, Collectors, and Supervisors who investigate, bill and collect on all damage cases.  Administer and complete quarterly review audits for Case Managers.  Manage department compliance through documenting and supporting SOX and Audit activities, driving Hertz policies and procedures, and complying with state and federal regulations. Ensure files have been reviewed for contract violations, missing billing and collectability opportunities, and identifying trends.  Develop and lead a high-performing Subrogation team through leadership development, employee engagement and recognition, demonstrating accountability, performance management, and supporting career growth. Collaborates with other departments on projects.

 

What We’re Looking For:

5 years of subrogation or damage collection experience 3 years’ leadership experience Proven results in damage collections processes Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills    Results driven, ability to make decisions and help solve problems  Ability to drive process and organizational change.  Ability to motivate teams and keep a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.  Excellent organization, time management, delegation, and prioritization skills.
