Wood is recruiting for a Subsea Construction Engineer specialising in Seabed Intervention to join the team on a long term contract basis supporting in the planning and execution of an offshore projects seabed intervention scopes, including nearshore dredging, trenching, sandwave rectification/pre-sweep, and rock-dumping. This role will be based in Staines with some hybrid working available. We can also consider candidates from elsewhere in the UK who are willing to travel regularly to Staines/Sunbury

The Role 

The Subsea Construction Engineer – Seabed Intervention will take on responsibilities relating to the planning and execution of the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) offshore project seabed intervention scopes, including nearshore dredging, trenching, sandwave rectification/pre-sweep, and rock-dumping. It is necessary that the person taking on this role has the relevant experience performing a similar role within contractor/subcontractor organization, to ensure ability to provide specialised technical oversight. Responsibilities for managing these scopes shall span across three separate EPCI contracts (EPCI1, EPCIC2 and EPCI3).
