The Subsea Processing Engineer will provide technical knowledge and solutions in the process simulation field, with the ability to be deployed on multiple EPC and Product Development projects globally. You’ll have a systems mindset, with the ability to challenge the standards and have an affinity for problem solving. Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry is recommended.

As a Subsea Processing Engineer, you will be responsible for:

A client facing role that will be responsible for growing the relationship through systems designs and development plans.Working with the global team to ensure engineering is executed to contract specifications and local regulatory requirements.General ownership of key systems engineering deliverables; System Target Range, System configurations, Scope of supply and Operational philosophy.Play a pivotal role in interface management, ensuring the timely and correct closure of interfaces – fail early mentality to avoid impact on deliverables.Responsibility for developing and delivering safe and compliant products across the engineering Group.Working with the allocated project team to deliver the required systems engineering scope, acting as the technical interface to the customerOwnership of system engineering design files as required, FMEA, HAZOP and other system level processes/analyses.Collaboration across the organization (both peers and senior leaders) to ensure smooth and effective delivery of projects.Work without authority – Data driven decisions.Support the organization with technical guidance and development of a world class systems offerings.Interface to internal and external regional clients, building relationships and timely response/interaction.Full review and understanding of technical scope, requirements and specifications.

To be successful in this role you will:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (Chemical) or Science based discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience.Any previous experience with Oil and Gas processing systems is recommended.Must have aptitude for learning new technology, techniques, methods and principles.Strong analytical experience and the ability to use analytical tools to aid & enhance product/offering development. Experience using process simulation software (e.g. Hysys, Olga) is a plus.Ability to champion and promote good culture/behaviors within the workplace.Experience developing world class, market leading systems.Experience delivering projects on both small and large scales.Ability to travel internationally, as required.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Strong knowledge sharing and mentoring capabilities.Excellent report writing & presentation skills.Ability to provide senior leadership updates in a concise and accurate manner.Fluent English Speaker.Understanding of subsea architecture and ability to translate that into a winning subsea development.
