Substance Abuse Counselor - CADC-T, CADC I , CADC II, or be eligible to be licensed

2 Open in Griffin, GA
The substance abuse counselor will facilitate substance abuse (SA) psych education groups, group training and submit services with appropriate timeframe.
Utilize evidence based SA materials.
Participate SA staffing, provide feedback and assist in providing recommendations to lower level of care when necessary.
NOTE: McIntosh Trail Community Service Board conducts background checks on all final candidates. Hiring of applicants is contingent upon satisfactory results of:
Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record
Database
Drug Screen
Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for seven years
TB testing will be required upon appointment. If you have previously tested positive for TB, you will be required to bring a copy of your chest x-ray on your first day of orientation.

Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR certification as an addiction counselor from the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA) or equivalent certification.
