Substance Use Disorder Counselor
Job Descriptions: Turn Compassion into Action-Help Others Heal as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor. Provide both individual and group counseling services to patients enrolled in the Medication-Assisted Treatment Program and make a lasting impact on their recovery journey. Pay: $28.65-$34.35 Benefit Highlights: + Employer-paid Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision): 100% for employee and 80% for dependents. + 17 days PTO per year, 11 Paid Holidays, 8+ Sick Days (1 hour for every 30 hours worked) + Retirement Plan with 6% match Duties: + Facilitate and cofacilitate substance usage support groups + Provide individual counseling with our patients + Conduct screenings, assessments and referrals to treatment + Be available for warm handoffs from primary care physicians Required Experience: Minimum qualifications: + Possess and maintain certification as an Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Counselor + 2 years or more experience counseling individuals with substance use challenges + Connect with people from all backgrounds and provide culturally sensitive support About Us: Chapa-De is a non-profit community outpatient health center with a mission to advance the health and well-being of American Indians and low-income individuals living in our communities by providing convenient access to high quality, compassionate care.
