Job Title: Physical Substation Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Substation Engineer based in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of three years' experience in physical substation engineering, with additional skills in AutoCAD or MicroStation being highly advantageous. Experience in leading projects and collaborating with drafters and designers is essential.

ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop physical substations with attention to detail and precision.Collaborate with drafters and designers to ensure seamless project execution.Lead engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.Utilize AutoCAD and MicroStation for effective substation designs.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience in physical substation engineering.Proficiency in substation design and physical design techniques.Strong skills in AutoCAD and MicroStation for design purposes.Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively with design teams.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of P&C (Protection and Control) systems.Understanding of utilities, power delivery, and power generation processes.Work Environment

The role is based in Houston, Texas and involves working on advanced engineering projects. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams and offering opportunities to lead and innovate in substation design.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
