Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for providing extraordinary guest service at all times. This person will be communicating with guests, servers, and management in order to provide extraordinary service. This person will be working directly with all service members and be responsible for bussing and resetting tables. This person will also be responsible for designated side work as assigned and requested by management and perform any other job related duties as assigned by management.
Responsibilities Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene; be ready to work and on timeTo comply with food handling standardsTo completely understand and execute Bob’s service standardsMust be “TIPS” certifiedPerform all opening and closing side work, which includes, but is not limited to the following:Fold napkins.Wipe and fill salt & pepper shakersPrep ButterPrep PicklesFill oil & vinegar bottlesStock sugar cadiesWipe down check presenter and pre-stuff with comment cardsRestock waiter station with rolls of paper for printerPlace & light candles in votives and set them on tablesSweep and/or vacuum floors of any debris including under the tables accordinglyStock all tablecloths and napkinsAttend mandatory pre-shift meeting to review menu, specials, 86’s, VIP guests, special instructions and all other pertinent informationAttendance and participation in training sessionsEnsure the prompt, courteous service to all guest maintaining a professional attitude at all timesBe friendly and helpful with all guests. Refer to the guest by names whenever possiblePolish and stock all silverware, flatware and glasses for the restaurant, bar and the cooking lineAssist servers in bussing tablesAssist servers in bringing soiled dishes, glassware and utensils to the dishwashing station in the kitchen and separate (breakdown) in the appropriate mannerAssist servers in clearing and resetting tables when guest leaveEmpty trash receptacles behind the bar, service stations, and bussing stationsEmpty dirty linen behind the bar, service stations and bussing stationsRefill ice bins behind bar and before and during serviceFill wine buckets with iceRestock and supply refrigeratorsBring tablecloths & napkins to be folded. Help fold napkins during slow timesBring up coffee, tea and sugar products so that the coffee station can be restockedAssist in cleaning of the restaurant. For example, wiping down shelves, cleaning low boy fridges, breaking down coffee stationsComplete any other duties required by ManagementRemain in the designated work area during shift$16.38 - $21.84 Hourly
Qualifications Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.2 years previous experience in a 4 diamond hotel or restaurant environmentPrevious Micros experience preferredAbility to carry up to 30 IBSAbility to stand for extended periods of time
