GENERAL SUMMARY
The Sylvan Substitute Teacher is responsible for creating a positive personal learning experience for students by teaching students using Sylvan program materials. Available hours and days of need are Monday through Friday from 9:00 until 1:30.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greets students and initiates instruction to personally engage each student Instructs students according to the design of the Sylvan programs Manages students, tasks and time to create a balanced and robust instructional session Uses praise and encouragement to ensure students are engaged and inspired to learn Communicates specific student needs to Center staffKNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Ability to work with children and adults Knowledge of general office equipment such as copiers, printers, and office phones Knowledge of tablet computers preferredSKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
