Are you a seasoned field professional ready to lead high-impact Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) operations? As a SUE Field Manager, you’ll guide teams, oversee complex fieldwork, and ensure precision and safety in infrastructure projects that shape communities across the Southeast.

️ Key Responsibilities
+ Supervise and coordinate daily SUE field operations across multiple job sites
+ Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field crews and junior staff
+ Ensure accurate data collection, documentation, and reporting
+ Oversee the use and maintenance of specialized locating and survey equipment
+ Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
+ Liaise with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure project success
+ Manage logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation for field operations
What You Bring
+ Proven experience in SUE field operations, land surveying, or utility locating
+ Strong leadership and team management skills
+ Proficiency with total stations, GPS, electromagnetic locating tools, and GPR
+ Familiarity with vacuum excavation and utility mapping standards
+ Prior experience with USIC or similar organizations preferred
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
+ Willingness to travel and adapt to changing outdoor environments
Work Environment
This is a 100% field-based leadership role. You’ll oversee crews working outdoors in all weather conditions and varied terrain. Overnight travel may be required depending on project scope and location.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
