Why Lead With Us? + Drive Impact: Your leadership helps prevent utility strikes, supports smarter infrastructure planning, and protects public safety. + Lead Innovation: Manage teams using advanced equipment—total stations, GPS, ground-penetrating radar, and vacuum excavation tools. + Mentor & Grow: Foster a culture of excellence by training and supporting SUE Technicians and Analysts. + Explore & Lead: Travel to diverse job sites while building a career rooted in technical mastery and team development. ️ Key Responsibilities + Supervise and coordinate daily SUE field operations across multiple job sites + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field crews and junior staff + Ensure accurate data collection, documentation, and reporting + Oversee the use and maintenance of specialized locating and survey equipment + Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards + Liaise with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure project success + Manage logistics, scheduling, and resource allocation for field operations What You Bring + Proven experience in SUE field operations, land surveying, or utility locating + Strong leadership and team management skills + Proficiency with total stations, GPS, electromagnetic locating tools, and GPR + Familiarity with vacuum excavation and utility mapping standards + Prior experience with USIC or similar organizations preferred + Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities + Willingness to travel and adapt to changing outdoor environments Work Environment This is a 100% field-based leadership role. You’ll oversee crews working outdoors in all weather conditions and varied terrain. Overnight travel may be required depending on project scope and location. Ready to Lead?
