Sugarloaf Groomer
Overview Sugarloaf is looking for new team members that are as passionate as we are about snow. A Sugarloaf Groomer must be able to provide the best possible snow surface while safely operating grooming equipment in a variety of outdoor weather conditions. This role requires a flexible schedule, good judgement, and the ability to operate machines in different snow conditions. All groomers are expected to maintain equipment, do routine services, and have good communication skills. If you are interested in making the best groomed snow conditions for Sugarloafers, please apply! *our anticipated start date is November 1st but that is a bit weather dependent and subject to change in either direction Responsibilities Groom all trails as assigned Ensure that equipment is fueled and shoveled off at the end of each shift Track all time spent on trail grooming and projects Assist Lift Department in fixing lift ramps and areas Qualifications Relevant experience, preferably in ski resort grooming, is preferred. Must be familiar with ski industry, have knowledge of grooming equipment, and a valid Maine driver's license.
