THE ROLE
The Suite Attendant provides exceptional guest service and is responsible for timely and efficient set up, service and break down of Luxury Suites. Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task. Will be responsible for minimal cash handling and working with a POS system. Must be able to operate in a fast-paced, demanding environment efficiently. Must serve alcoholic beverages responsibly adhering to the Legends Alcohol Policy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times Fulfill the assigned opening and closing duties Set up Suite, including utensils, beverages, food, service-ware, etc. in a timely and efficient manner Adhere to all special instructions/requests on order confirmation including billing Assist in the delivery of all food and beverages both pre-orders and game-day orders Verify and set up all pre-game orders Verify all beverage orders and beverage pars Must have extensive knowledge of food and beverage menu, specials and services offered Communicate with Suite Supervisors, Attendants, Runners, Chefs and Legends Management Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments within stadium Identify Suite Owner/Host and introduce yourself within two minutes of arrival Listen attentively to Owner/Host’s needs and respond accordingly Provide guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed expectations Ability to open, present and serve fine wines to guests Take game day food and beverage orders and enter into Point of Sale system; obtain payment immediately Check ID prior to service of alcohol – Practice responsible alcohol service Replenish food, condiments, service-ware, and utensils, as needed Maintain a clean, sanitary and orderly setting within the Suites Check overall cleanliness of Suite and relay issues to the appropriate personnel Present overall invoice of charges to Suite host/hostess and obtain appropriate signatures Inventory beverage par and restock accordingly Restock all plastic and paper supplies for next event Wipe down all counters and equipment in the suite, including fridges, garbage cans, etc… Complete assigned side jobs (pantry clean-up, etc.) Complete closing duties and checkout with manager/supervisor Must know the “layout” of the Suites area where you are working, (i.e. - know where the closest First Aid office, bathroom and staircase are), and be able to direct staff and guests to their designation Must be knowledgeable of other food, beverage and retail outlets within the stadium Must maintain personal hygiene and a well-groomed appearance standard Perform other assignments as required by supervision
QUALIFICATIONS Must be proactive, self-motivated, organized and the ability to prioritize as needed Must be detail oriented Report for scheduled events on time and report to assigned area in a timely manner Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change quickly Must be punctual and dependable Must be able to read and maintain information Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations Must be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, management and guests Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet service demand levels, including days, nights, weekends and holidays Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training
Physical Requirements:
Able to move quickly and act on assigned duties Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time Must be able to stand, kneel, lift (up to 30 pounds), carry items, push carts, walk at a fast pace, and bend down
