This Summer Internship offers compensation of $15 / hour and is located at our Administrative Office in Columbia, SC - 101 Business Park Blvd Ste 1100, Columbia, SC 29203.
ResponsibilitiesStarting as an Accounting Intern, you will be exposed to basic accounting procedures and principles ranging from accounts payable and receivable systems to financial statement, preparation, and analysis. Duties include but are not limited to:
Assist in preparing financial statement & analysisWork closely with rental branches and other departmentsAssist accounting managers with reports, etc.Involved with A/P & A/R functions; cash receipts & petty cashAssist in accounting schedules & filingPerform miscellaneous administrative duties as neededEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans
Qualifications Must be enrolled full time in a college/university in a bachelors degree program in Accounting or Finance with a graduation date of August/December 2025 or May 2026Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and WordMust be flexible to relocate outside local area/state within a 1-3 year period to accept potential promotional opportunitiesMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.No drug or alcohol related conviction on your record in the past 5 years (i.e., DUI, DWI)Must be available to start in May 2025 and have the availability to work full-time (40 hrs/wk) for a 10-12 week commitment.
