The Shamrock Students Professional Internship Program is an 11-week program focused on hands-on training in a variety of opportunities throughout the Shamrock Foods Company enterprise. As a Shamrock Student, you will be a part of a cohort of interns focused on real projects that impact the business. In addition to the work, you will do to support your department, you'll get to know your fellow interns through a variety of collaborative projects and events.
\nProgram dates: May 19, 2025 through August 1, 2025
\nEssential Duties:
\n\nProvide support for automation engineering department in an accurate and timely manner\nParticipate in upgrades and installations of conveyors and automation test bench\nAssist team in project to implement gearbox vibration monitoring and motor AMP monitoring\nUpdate electrical drawings and system documentations\nAssist in system troubleshooting and efficiency upgrades\nOther duties as assigned\n\nQualifications:
\n\n1+ year(s) educational experience and currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university with a focus on Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field\nMaintains a minimum GPA of 3.0 \nMust live in or near Aurora, Colorado\nStrong written and oral communication skills\nStrong sense of urgency and accountability\nDemonstrates expertise in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)\nAbility to learn and act in a fast-paced environment\nEffective task management\nHigh level of motivation and adaptability\nGreat attitude and desire to learn and grow\n\nStarting pay for this role is weighted on several factors with a hourly rate between $20-21 an hour
