Economics Partners at Ryan, a practice group within Ryan, LLC (“EP”) is looking for junior students majoring in economics, finance, mathematics, or statistics to work as interns in our Washington, D.C. office during the Summer of 2025. Interns earn $25.90 per hour and, depending on the quality of work performed, may be offered full-time positions upon graduation.About Economics Partners:
EP is a highly regarded applied economics and financial consulting firm. We specialize in transfer pricing, transaction restructuring, and valuation projects for companies operating in virtually every industry. Our clients include many of the world’s largest and most well-known multinational corporations, government agencies, and top-tier law firms.
Our services include transfer pricing, valuation, and economic modeling, which are used in controversy, compliance, and planning settings. We act as expert witnesses in complex litigation matters, as well as negotiate audit settlements and advance pricing agreements between governments and multinational corporations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The EP internship provides our interns with skills they will need to work in the applied economics and financial consulting fields. Interns will work on a variety of assignments including but not limited to:
• In-depth company, industry, and market research;
• Data collection and organization;
• Financial and statistical analyses;
• Valuation analyses using the discounted cash flow and market multiples methods; and
• Evaluating the arm’s length nature of intercompany transactions through the application of economic and financial analyses.
The environment at EP is very collegial; as such, interns will have the opportunity to work with associates, managers, directors, and partners on a regular basis.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Cover letter required and must include: (1) a maximum of 400 words; (2) a demonstrated interest in economics, finance, and/or valuation; and (3) outline why you want to intern for an economic consulting firm.
3.0 or above GPA required (unofficial transcript must be submitted as part of application process).
Ideal candidates will be pursuing a degree in economics, finance, mathematics, or statistics.
Strong communication skills and excellent Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
Analytical mind and ability to handle multiple projects at a time with a strong attention to detail.
Must be eligible to work in the United States, now and in the future, without sponsorship.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license required.
