Summer 2025 Intern: Omnichannel Operations

As a participant of the Belk Internship Program, you will gain real word experience and exposure to various functional areas of Supply Chain specifically in Omnichannel. You will focus on understanding fulfillment, analyzing data, partnering cross functionally with teams, and special projects for Supply Chain leaders. You will gain experience through shadowing assignments, visits to store fulfillment operations, individual projects, and formal mentorship during the 10-week program. The Internship Program will look to hire Supply Chain candidates remotely who will come to Charlotte a few times in the Summer.

Internship Program Overview:

As a participant of the Belk Internship Program, you will gain real word experience and exposure to various functional areas of Supply Chain specifically in Omnichannel. You will focus on understanding fulfillment, analyzing data, partnering cross functionally with teams, and special projects for Supply Chain leaders. You will gain experience through shadowing assignments, visits to store fulfillment operations, individual projects, and formal mentorship during the 10-week program. The Internship Program will look to hire Supply Chain candidates remotely who will come to Charlotte a few times in the Summer.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities: 

Work in a fast paced, dynamic, test, and learn environment

Track KPIs through multiple databases to manage omni-performance 

Create ad-hoc reporting and visualizations based on business need and data findings 

Collaborate with IT partners in application upgrade testing for end user enhancements to fulfillment environments 

Assist with day-to-day operations in the brick-and-mortar stores for fulfillment and delivery 

Perform analysis to reconcile data to source reports and to resolve discrepancies in customer orders 

Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and reduce variability and cost for the supply chain team 

Identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement, order management, and in-store productivity 

Complete ad-hoc projects assigned by Supply Chain leaders 

 

Requirements/Qualifications: 

Rising college senior planning to graduate in December 2025 or Spring 2026

Strong academic performance in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial/Operational Engineering, Operations, and or Business Related Field 

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by Belk for this position now or in the future  

Proven strong academic performer (GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred)  

Able to see and recognize colors and lift 25 lbs. 

Leadership skills that include professional business ethics, confidence and self-motivation
