Summer 2025 Intern - Biosafety - California

The Biosafety intern will work with the internal team as well as cross-functionally to support new product development and product sustainment projects to ensure the development and sustainment of products with the highest quality. These interns will improve current processes and assess future technologies and capabilities needed by Biosafety in order to meet the goals of future products. The Biosafety team’s job is to ensure we develop the right Biosafety strategy to sufficiently evaluate risk, ensure our customer’s user needs are met, ensure regulations and standards are met and help drive craftsmanship, safety, durability and reliability into the product. On the post-market side, we also work closely with regulatory to address any questions, complaints, and changes (process, design, or supplier) related to Biosafety. The role requires someone who has great communication, problem-solving, and technical skills.

What You Need​​

Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan to be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer.​

Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and will be verified during background check in the spring​

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.​

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ​

Strong interpersonal skills.​

Ability to exercise independent judgment and proven leadership and business acumen skills. ​

Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. ​

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. ​

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.​

Proficient on basic computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

$19 min hourly wage – $33 max hourly wage and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location. 

Travel Percentage: 10%
