Summer 2025 Intern - Event Marketing

Summer Internships: Monday, May 19, 2025 (40/hours per week max)

The Event Marketing Intern will perform a variety of tasks dependent upon the team they support. This person will coordinate details, execute projects, and work cross-functionally with other teams within Workiva.

What You'll Do

Research, plan, and execute on venue selection, collateral, and workshop/event logisticsAssist with managing vendor relationshipsMonitor and work within established budget guidelines for the program(s)Collaborates with multiple teams across the organization to integrate appropriate marketing strategiesMeasures success metrics and analyzes reports to assist with recommending areas for improvementResearches industry trends, competitors, and regulationsAssists in managing multiple marketing projects, programs, and/or events prioritizing workload and completion under tight deadlinesProvide assistance in tracking project progression

​What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Communications, or related program

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in planning large-scale events preferredExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvementAbility to work successfully, in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment is necessaryExceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlinesStrong creativity and brainstorming skillsStrong attention to detail

Travel Requirements and Working Conditions

Limited travelReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva officeMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
