Summer 2025 Junior Business Insights Specialist Intern (Minneapolis, MN)

Role Overview:   

Amplifon Americas, parent company to Miracle-Ear and Amplifon Hearing Healthcare, a global leader in hearing health care, has a strong demand for an authentic, creative, diverse and versatile candidate for our Summer 2025 Junior Business Insights Specialist Internship. Our 10-week paid internship program is designed to align with your interests and skillsets, providing you with a unique opportunity to grow professionally. The Junior Business Insights Intern will work on business intelligence analytics projects, including capturing business requirements, developing data models, reports and dashboards, running tests, consulting business/technology experts, creating product backlog items, technical documentation, and user training materials.

Key Responsibilities: 

Support cross-functional projects, identify dependencies and workflows, coordinate multiple parties to stick to defined timeline, highlight obstacles and risks, and manage stakeholder communication Review internal processes, partner with Amplifon Analytics Community to enhance product management, knowledge management and change management practices Perform ad-hoc analysis for business inquires or diagnose data issues Stay on top of emerging technology trends and next generation BI/Analytics solutions

Qualifications in this role include, but are not limited to: 

Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Management, or related field Knowledge of Information Systems, and web-based analytics solutions architecture concepts (e.g., data warehouse, data marts, KPI/ metrics, dashboard design, and visualization types) General understanding of business functions, processes, and overall business strategies

Preferred Experience and Skills: 

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good relationship builder Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and international environment – self-starter, proactive, flexible, and well organized to keep track of multiple priorities. Open minded and a strong appetite to learn new skills, explore new subjects, and understand different perspectives Strong numerical skills and attention to details System design and process mapping experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools Experience with BI Analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI / Tableau / DataIku / Alteryx  Hands-on experience with SQL and Git Knowledge of Cloud data tools (Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Looker, Dataform/dbt, Dataflow, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Composer or AWS/Azure equivalents) Experience with Python, Linux shell commands, PowerShell, Terraform is a plus
