**Job Description** Primary Duties / Responsibilities: + Develop CIP Manual for 5 CIP systems, and work with Chemserve to validate CIP and wash cycles. Will give the intern valuable experience and understanding of food sanitation and plant GMPs. + Update lab procedures to the new DFA procedure formats, and insure they meet the requirements of the Standard Methods for the Examination of Dairy Product and Corporate Procedures + Work Sanitation Supervisor and QA Manager on sanitation PM programs . + Work on and develop effective filler clean procedures and training program for fillers. + Monitors plant sanitation and good manufacturing practices daily so that high standards of sanitation are maintained. Will give the intern valuable experience and understanding of food sanitation and Plant GMPs. + Other assignments in the QA department as needed. **Requirements** The qualified candidate will be a sophomore, junior or senior in the fall of 2025 with a degree focus in Dairy Science, Food Science, Food Processing or related field.
