What is the opportunity?
The opportunity is to be a part of the Loyalty & Merchant Solutions strategy team within Canadian Banking to support our loyalty strategy & management team. You will work as part of the experienced team of experts to support development of new capabilities, complete market research, analyze trends and identify insights, ideate on new tactics to gain market share, drive acquisition and growth. You will use your skills to analyze and research the competitive positioning of our products and offers, conduct competitor, and market analysis, and develop insights to support larger loyalty team.
What will you do?
Support the Loyalty & Merchant Solutions team with market scans and research to inform our competitive intelligence and insights portfolioCollaborate with colleagues to track key market development, create competitor profiles and ideate on strategies for key business capabilitiesEffectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partnersUse various research and data sources to analyze, identify opportunities or competitive threats, calculate benefits, and make recommendationsLeverage PowerPoint and other tools to effectively communicate recommendations to various stakeholdersUtilize Excel to manage data, support reporting and/or identify new opportunitiesWhat do you need to succeed?

Currently enrolled at a post-secondary institution with an interest in Financial Services and StrategyLeadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environmentExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Demonstrate strong competencies in collaboration, attention to detail, and time managementCreative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environmentStrong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPointNice-to-have
