Position Summary

TM Imaging utilizes the most cutting-edge medical imaging technology to understand the molecular biology of a wide range of diseases including oncology, immuno-sciences, cardiovascular, and fibrosis and deepen our understanding of how medicines work in the body to treat human disease. During this internship the candidate will have their own project and work alongside our Clinical imaging team by learning and contributing to the development and execution of a fully automated radiomics pipeline. The candidate will gain hands-on experience in image analysis. Will assist in research for analysis techniques with proper validation and have the opportunity to collaborate within Imaging both on the preclinical team and clinical team. Candidate will have a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team of biomedical engineers, chemists, biologists, and clinicians while learning how to leverage imaging to advance early discovery and translational research. A successful candidate will have some limited technical experience and enthusiasm for working and learning in a research setting.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and evaluate a fully automated machine learning based processing pipeline using CT imagesConduct research, including statistical literature review and methodology development, under supervisionAbility to use deep learning-based algorithmsUnderstand the context and impact of data and be able to communicate in a timely manner


Qualifications & Experience

Ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a quantitative sciences program [Computer Science, Math, Computational Biology, etc]Strong knowledge of programming languages, with a focus on machine learning (Python, Spark, R, TensorFlow, Sagemaker, etc]Experience in using deep learning-based algorithmsA healthy interest in medical imagingGood communication and presentation skillsMust be able to work independently and hold self-accountable for various tasksAbility to prioritize and manage time efficiently
