Human Resources Internship Program 

 

The Role: Human Resources: Experience different HR areas and gain a broad, cross-functional understanding of the HR function and a foundation of business insight. For HR, we look for strong multi-taskers with a strong EQ and communication skills and are analytical problem solvers. During the HR Internship you will be gaining: 

Exposure to the different realms of HR: Talent Management, Talent acquisition, People Analytics, Benefits, Line HR, Associate Experience, T&D Learning, Compensation, Employee Relations, etc. through formal learning sessions.  

Frequent opportunities to participate in meetings with best-in-class Fidelity associates and occasionally even outside vendor partners. 

Build up their business acumen in their dedicated assignment area and learn corporate communication styles and how to navigate the workplace effectively.  

Professionally network with multiple associates, across multiple levels, within Fidelity HR.  

Interns will be asked to creatively assess their assignment areas over the internship and present to leadership their assessment and analysis of their learnings.

At Fidelity, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we’re calling “Dynamic Working”. Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity office at least two weeks a month, for 5 consecutive days, on a rotation of every other week. Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
