Description The Summer Associates Program is PHLYs exclusive internship experience. It will require students to think critically about the daily responsibilities of an insurance professional. You will learn the ins and outs of the internal systems and work alongside professionals to complete team and company objectives. You will learn the impact of your department on the overall company and its success. Role: This role will be responsible for assisting with daily tasks and projects in support the PHLY Human Resources team. This role will require strong communication skills, relationship building skills, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Tasks/Responsibilities: Daily tasks consist of (not an inclusive list and subject to change) processing changes in Workday HRMS, filing personnel documents within the electronic filing system, processing and providing reports to the HR Business Partner Team, and participating in the employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Additional responsibilities that may be provided includes general customer service by responding to employee inquiries via email, tracking and auditing various processes, including payroll and exit interview systems and collaborating cross-functionally within the HR Department as needed on projects. Projects: Projects may consist of assisting with creation of presentations, researching and identifying potential process improvements for the HR Business Partner Team, conducting payroll audits and reporting findings to support HR Business Partners. May review documentation on the HR Business Partner Team SharePoint site for relevance, suggesting updates as necessary. Program Overview/Benefits: + Program runs June 2, 2025-August 8, 2025; Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00pm LT + Hybrid Schedule – 3 days minimum in the office/week + Participation in a team project; teams meet weekly to collaborate and prepare their final presentation which will be delivered to the leadership team at the end of the program + Attend weekly department overview presentations delivered by Senior Leadership to gain knowledge of the company and industry + Weekly meetings with your assigned mentor + On the job training within the department at the direction of the supervising manager + Volunteer opportunities + Hourly rate varies depending on year in school Qualifications + Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree + Like Insurance?
