Summer Camp Teacher & Counselor | Rock Hill The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Summer Camp Teacher for our top-rated preschool in Rock located at 1895 West Main Street. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you! Pay rate: $16 to $19 per hour, based on experience & education. Pay rate is determined by relevant education and experience. Candidates with a high school diploma and limited experience will be paid at the lower end of the range. Candidates with EDU 119 to an associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related field may be paid mid-range. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field and applicable experience may be paid at the higher end of the range. Position Available At: + Sunshine House of Rock Hill at 1895 West Main Street Summer Camp Teacher Duties: + Plan outdoor activities or sports for groups of campers. + Lead recreational and educational activities, such as swimming or crafting. + Educate campers through games and explorations. + Make sure all safety rules are followed. + Safely transport children to/from field trip in small bus. Requirements + Must be at least 21-years-old with a clean driving record. + High school diploma or equivalent required. + At least 6 months of experience working in licensed childcare required. + ECD 101 or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. + Energetic and positive personality.
