Position Overview

The Coca-Cola’s Summer Internship program is a 10-week experience at our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The data scientist intern will be a part of our Nutrition Global Development and Innovation team and will support initiatives and identify solutions to unlock our data utilization and capabilities.  The prospective candidates should have technical aptitude, strong data and digital capability, critical thinking ability, and strong communication skills (written and visual), who wants to lead and contribute to helping shape the future data capabilities and utilization on a global scale in a large, complex environment.


Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities

Develop tools, templates, and processes to improve efficient utilization of category technical data and insights. Enhance predictive capabilities to drive data-driven decisions on risks and to create efficiencies.Report project outcomes, share learnings, and provide insights and data to guide decisions and innovations.  Effective partnership, storytelling and technical communication will bridge technical recommendations with strategic business objectives. Must be able to work with and leverage big data to develop a narrative and tell a story that can be used to drive strategy and influence key stakeholders. Harness digital tools, technologies, and platforms to gather insights for product development, such as market trends, consumer preferences, and social media information.Propose and drive continuous improvement for the category / department.

Functional Skills:

Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillAdvanced digital skills to employ data analytics, AI, and digital prototyping in innovation. Data integrity and cybersecurity awareness. Understanding of data governance principles & framework. Strong experience with Power BI and data visualization tools.Proficiently uses Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and WordCollaborative, team player, high level of commitmentPassionate with an aptitude to quickly learnStrong ability to visualize and effectively socialize action-based findings.

Education Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Graduate Degree in Data and Analytics, Computer Science, Management Engineering, or similar areas and not graduating before December 2025. Data Analytics, Data Science experience preferred
