As the Summer EBT Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in implementing the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer (S-EBT) program within the Nutrition Program Services division of the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE). Your primary focus will be on technical assistance, training, and support for schools, districts, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders. Duties will include:
+ Creating and disseminating technical assistance and training resources to ensure efficient Summer EBT program operations, quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts.
+ Develop and conduct interactive Summer EBT program information and system trainings tailored for program sponsors such as schools and districts.
+ Serve as a liaison to the Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF), Minnesota State IT Services (MNIT), School districts, parents, other stakeholders to ensure standards of practice are met for the Summer EBT program.
+ Compile, analyze and organize program data and other information resources for internal staff and external customers and Partners.
+ Coordinate and document Summer EBT administrative responsibilities and activities to maintain program standards.
+ Address external customer inquiries and provide guidance to call center/help desk staff on complex program-related issues.
+ Research program requirements, regulations, and national trends to inform policy and best practices.

4 years of professional experience
OR
A bachelor's or master's degree and 3 years of professional experience
Experience must include:
+ Planning and managing education, health or nutrition programs.
+ Working with data management, analysis and retention.
+ Developing and delivering virtual and in-person training for diverse audiences, ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.
+ Strong communication skills (oral and written), problem-solving abilities and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Knowledge and experience with the Summer EBT program
+ Experience working in or with schools and districts
+ Familiarity with USDA child nutrition programs.
