Summer ESY Speech Therapist/Pathologist JobID: 1953 Position Type: Summer Positions + Date Posted: 2/14/2025 + Location: Victor Central School District + Closing Date: 03/14/2025 Job Description Title: Summer ESY Speech Therapist/Pathologist Position: This is a six week position, Monday - Friday from July 7th - August 15, 2025 Description: This is a professional position responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating and helping to prevent speech, language, cognitive communication, voice swallowing, fluency and other related disorders. Qualifications: + Hold valid New York State certification in Speech and Language Disabilities and NYS License as a Speech Language Pathologist + Knowledge of the current principles and practices of Speech Language Pathology + Ability to work with a culturally diverse population of students and families + Ability to create a safe and culturally inviting environment + Effective communication and problem solving skills + Ability to work collaboratively in an educational setting with all stakeholders Responsibilities: Shall include but are not limited to the following: + Must be able to work across all settings, Pre-Kindergarten to High School serving students with a range of disabilities including those involving language, + Provide intervention services to support students and reduce academic barriers + Utilize appropriate evaluation tools to assess students’ abilities as they relate to communication + Gather and interpret data to inform instructional practices + Complete activities such as Individualized Education Program development, Medicaid billing, report writing and treatment plan/therapy log development + Engage with students and families from culturally diverse backgrounds + Work collaboratively with District and Building Level leadership and staff + Other duties as assigned by the Building Principal, Director of Elementary or Secondary Special Education or district office administration Reports to: Building Principal, Director of Elementary or Secondary Special Education
