ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
This isn’t necessarily a 7:30 a.m. - 4p.m. role (core business hours at SAIT) and may scheduled to work infrequently from the afternoon into the evening and an odd weekend
SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant I is responsible for a range of administrative duties including, document management, database management, scheduling third-party services, work order management
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out the day-to-day execution of clerical duties to ensure BGIS is provided with administrative support Attend to virtual document management tasks including, filing, word-processing as required, communications, sourcing documentation from third parties Create and maintain simple spreadsheets Maintain client satisfaction and positive relations with BGIS external contacts Other related general administrative duties as required Researching information of various topics
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college program Strong computer skills, proficient with MS Office Self-motivated Ability to work with limited supervision and in a team Strong time management skills and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally Strong customer focus Comfortability in a fast-paced environment Strong multi-tasking skills Numeracy
