The Position

In this internship, you will work with the CMC PM team to build project dashboards using Smartsheet. Your main project will be to design an easy-to-use landing page that gives a quick snapshot of project status, risks, and open actions through Gantt charts, task lists, and schedules. You'll have access to project data, a helpful handbook, and Smartsheet University for guidance. Additionally, you'll get the chance to shadow CMC PMs, support project tracking, and help recover documentation from projects developed before Smartsheet was implemented.

This is a 12-week, fully onsite Summer Internship Program paying $19.00/hr.   

Responsibilities

Develop visual dashboards for CMC Projects using Smartsheet and PowerBI Collaborate with CMC PMs and technical leads to identify and consolidate key project information Collect, organize, display, and archive project data effectively Establish and document a process for setting up and maintaining Project Dashboards Train users on the features and functionality of the dashboards

Requirements:

Currently enrolled student at an Accredited University or College and majoring in Business Administration, Project Management, Management Information Systems, or related area of study in science Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Eagerness to learn new tools and processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Demonstrated project management experience, ideally with exposure to laboratory or scientific environments Familiarity with project management and data visualization tools such as Smartsheet, Power BI, or MS Project

 

Wisconsin pay range $9,120—$9,120 USD
