Summer Intern, DCE Marketing and Sales Support
**RWE Clean Energy, LLC** **Functional area:** Sales / Marketing **Remuneration:** Non-Exempt The **DCE Marketing and Sales Support Summer Intern** will assist in developing marketing plans for the DCE line of business, which will factor in market conditions, regulatory environment, competitive environment, and customer needs. They will participate in developing strategic business sales plans, channel partnerships, tactics, and support mechanisms for all sales groups with a focus on the profitable growth of the business. They will work with the sales assets in their trade show selection, participation, and attendance. Where needed, ensure the delivery of marketing merchandise and banners, booth, and trade show material. Assist the DCE line of business in creating reports for sales efficiency and sales pipeline. The intern will work with all of the groups in sales and marketing, energy services sales, solar and battery sales, and sales and marketing support. This intern position will focus more on marketing and sales support, but it will involve participation from all groups. **Responsibilities:** + Assist in the creation of marketing materials + Assist in the development of marketing plans that will drive growth and increase market penetration + Assist in the management of digital marketing campaigns + Assist in sales plan development and execution + Work with current and potential clients to increase revenue **Qualifications :** + Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or in Engineering + Preference for students who have completed their junior year in college and are starting their senior year + Strong interpersonal skills + Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space + Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams + Experience or coursework in computer programming and database management is preferred + Completed basic marketing course + Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables + Ability to multi-task while working independently and as part of a team + Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities + Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable **WORK ENVIRONMENT:** This position is an office-based role with some travel and visits to other RWECE offices and field locations. The employee must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time. **Pay range:** The base hourly range for this position in Illinois for undergraduates is $25.00-$35.00 an hour, and for graduates is $30.00--$40.00. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations.
