Contract dates: May-August 2025 This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours/week Work arrangement: remote, with flexibility for on-site presence in Montreal Must be bilingual French and English

Summer Intern, Engineering Project Management

The Intern, Project Management will assist project Manager and Project Team Manager with day to day tasks in implementing the project plan for end-to-end delivery of projects. 

The role:

Project Management Support

Assists Project Manager and with assigned day to day tasks in implementing the project plan for end-to-end delivery of projects.  Assists Project Manager with administrative tasks of setting up projects in PMWeb from Work Requests. Assists Project Manager with administrative tasks of creating and implementing tenders online. Assists Project Manager with setting up resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and schedules in PMWeb. Assists Project Manager with follow ups for project status updates from Vendors and external/internal stakeholders. Assists Project Manager in monitoring project delivery against timelines ensuring timely completion as assigned. Assists Project Manager in communicating project status to relevant stakeholders. Assists Project Manager with administrative tasks for gathering documents from external vendors for timely project close outs as assigned. Assists Project Manager in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget and requirements. Other duties as assigned by Project Manager.   Use the opportunity to develop essential relationship management skills, within project management. Use the opportunity to develop vendor management skills within project management.

 Who are you?

Working towards Community college degree / diploma preferably in architectural technology, construction technology, engineering technology or equivalent work experience. Any relevant course completed in project management will be an asset. Any relevant past project management or construction management experience will be an asset. Computer proficiency – proficient in and experience with MS Office suite of applications along with proven ability to quickly learn new applications.
