Summer Intern, Quality
As part of the Quality Team, the Quality Intern will be engaged in supporting the Quality Management System Software (Intelex).
Assist the system administrators with any activities in support of the Quality Management System Software including the development of any manual/training materials as required and provide training to the team members to facilitate understanding of the system.
The Quality Intern will report to the Director, Quality and will work with Quality team members on supporting system administration and quality reporting. This role is an exciting opportunity for students wishing to understand the area of Quality Management. This is a wonderful opportunity to utilize their communication skills to interact with internal customers.

End Date: August 2025
Location: Hybrid, in-office at the Markham head office
What will you do:
Ensure data integrity of our Quality Management System Software by performing various system audits. Provide review and input to the Intelex System Administration processes. Conduct tests as required to validate any new changes in the Intelex system and ensure the prior processes are not impacted. Participate in incident and problem resolutions, and ensure all activities are logged in the IT service management tool.Data & Reporting:
Assist with data transfer of quality records between systems. Report generation and distribution.
Who are you?
Education:
Currently enrolled in College or University Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science / Information Technology (IT) or equivalent related discipline. Open to both current students who will be returning to their in-class studies upon the completion of the work term and recent graduates who have completed their studies within the past 2 years.Knowledge & Skills:
Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word Attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong written and spoken English, communication and presentation skills Ability to view and reconcile issues from multiple dimensions including technical, business, short-term and long-term Time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and multi-task Ability to function in a fast-paced, flexible environment Ability to not only adapt to change but often be a force for positive change Commitment to exceptional customer service and technical supportDesired:
Understanding of analytical tools used to optimize business processes (Root Cause Analysis). Knowledge and experience implementing corporate IT systems and services. Technical knowledge of the corporate IT systems and services Troubleshooting software issues related to corporate IT systems Knowledge of quality management systems and practices. French language an asset
