Summer Intern, Sourcing

Start date: May 2025

End date: August 2025

Location: Hybrid, with in-person opportunities at our head office in Markham, ON

 

The role:

Solicitations and Tenders:

Prepare vendor compliance reports using analytical and Business Intelligence tools Collect and analyze data related to supplier spend by Client and category Schedule Supplier Business Reviews, collect and prepare data & deck Analyze supplier responses to RFx and provide detail analysis Assisting with business case development Use databases, electronic spreadsheets, and statistical applications to manipulate, analyze, and present data. Perform a variety of administrative duties relating to the systematic process of collecting, categorizing and analyzing supplier spend

Vendor Management:

Schedules Supplier Business Reviews, collects and prepares data, decks and maintains action register Support timely Vendor Payment by engaging with Vendors and Finance to ensure requirements are maintained Work order Closure - engages with Finance/Operations Centre and Vendors to ensure requirements are maintained

 

Who are you?

Currently working towards College or University degree in Business, Commerce, Data & Analytics, Supply Chain, or other relevant fields Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel Ability to work with a team towards common goals Able to manage multiple projects and priorities Self-starter who is comfortable working with and presenting to all management levels and client. Excellent written and oral communication including ability to communicate with users with various technical backgrounds. Pays attention to the details Ability to work well under pressure
