Summer Intern - HRIT (1st Shift) - Scottsdale AZ

Overview:

The HRIT part-time project is a 12-week opportunity to gain direct experience in the field of Human Resources Information Technology (“HRIT”).

The part-time (“PT”) resource will work with the HRIT team to enhance documentation and test plans used by the HRIT team, our Application Management Services (“AMS”) partner, the HR department, managers, and employees. The project resource will also learn about the business processes, policies, and best practices related to HRIT.

Project Outline:

Week 1:  Orientation and Training
• Meet the HRIT team.
• Review mandatory training sessions on data security, privacy, and compliance.
• Learn about the HRIT vision, goals, and roadmap.
• Get familiar with the company’s Global HR application, Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and documentation.

Week 2-9:  Application Enhancement
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new features, functionalities, or improvements for the company’s Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, such as designing user interfaces, conducting tests, or providing feedback.
• Document the changes and updates made to Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and update the user guides and test plans.
• Provide feedback and suggestions on how to improve the usability, reliability, and efficiency of the user guides and test plans.

Week 10-11:  Application Evaluation
• Conduct user research and surveys to evaluate the satisfaction, adoption, and impact of the Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
• Analyze the data and metrics collected from the survey and generate reports and insights.
• Identify the gaps, challenges, and opportunities for improvement of the HR applications and propose solutions or recommendations.
• Present the findings and outcomes of the application evaluation to the HRIT team and other stakeholders.

Week 12:  Wrap-up
• Complete the final performance review and feedback session with Head of HRIT and mentor.
• Prepare a portfolio of the work done and the achievements made during the project.

The hourly wage for this position is $20.00.

Candidates are eligible for the following benefit: 

•  one (1) hour of paid sick time for every thirty (30) hrs worked, and up to a maximum of forty-eight (48) hrs ea calendar yr.
