Through efficient sourcing of site products, logistics solutions, the Strategic Sourcing intern shall strengthen Ericsson’s competitive position by maximizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks, and contributing to the creation of value for the Customer. The Strategic Sourcing intern is accountable for assisting in the evaluation, qualification, and the selection of suppliers for the external purchase for these products and services. In addition, the strategic sourcing intern will assist in driving spend analysis, supplier performance key performance indicators and identifying continuous process improvement opportunities.  The intern will gain exposure to supplier relationship management process and the overall governance of our suppliers.  This may also include the Procure to Pay process.

 

Supporting Responsibilities & Tasks

Support the preparation and execution of the Rfx processEvaluate and select suppliers based on specific criteria and analysisSupport and participate in the preparation and finalization of negotiations with suppliers.Ensure implementation of supplier agreementsDevelop the long-term business for the specific product / service

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

Working towards undergraduate or master degree with at least 1 semester remaining after internship has been completedDegree concentration is Finance, Supply Chain, Business, or EngineeringGPA 2.7+Be available to work 40 hoursPlease attach an unofficial copy of your most recent transcripts when you apply
