About the Role
The Software Engineering Process Intern will be working with experienced senior engineers to perform software quality assurance processes, as defined by ASPICE. In addition, they will also be involved in testing and verifying the In-Vehicle Infotainment’s Radio/Tuner middleware stack and applications.
What You Will Do
Update the design and test documents to provide traceability to the requirements, implementations, etc. as per the ASPICE mandate.
(ASPICE - Automotive Software Performance Improvement and Capability determination)
Update the ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tasks to reflect the ASPICE adherence.
Run unit test cases and integration test cases on full applications.
Assisting in the execution of the stability and KPI metrics.
Assisting in the identification of process related Continual Improvement Opportunities.
Compile, build and review the source code and provide the traceability as per the ASPICE.
What You Need
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program.
Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
Must have C or C++ programming knowledge.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives
Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
What Makes You Eligible
Be willing to work in an office in Novi, MI
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must provide full work availability from May 19, 2025 through August 8, 2025 and be able to work 40 hours per week depending on workload

Dependent on the internship offered, pay is based on factors, including without limitation, the applicant's level of education and business need.
