About the Role
This position will run the system-level test on the software platform/product for globally developed automotive products by HARMAN. Perform bench and vehicle tests as per test strategy. Validate the system software on a regular basis using various test techniques to achieve the Software Quality and System Performance as per the defined requirements.
What You Will Do
Achieve a basic understanding of Embedded System and Automotive Products.
Achieve a basic understanding of Automotive Audio systems and Infotainment systems.
You'll gain in-depth knowledge of basic Infotainment and Connectivity devices.
Identifies software issues and transfers issues into the issue tracking system with supporting log files and data.
Performs setup of modules/wiring and maintains test benches and test vehicles appropriately.
Develops test strategies and plans per business and product requirements.
What You Need
Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program at an accredited institution having completed your Sophomore year or later, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter before participation in the internship program, and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
Must have a cumulative 3.0 GPA
Must have taken courses in, or closely related to, Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
Must have strong oral and written communication skills and be able to confidently interact and present information to senior leaders and executives
Must work collaboratively with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
What is Nice to Have
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of audio theory and concepts
Familiar with testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
Experience with performing testing on software products.
What Makes You Eligible
Be willing to travel up to 10%, domestic only.
Be willing to work in an office in Novi, Michigan.
Able to provide your own housing and transportation to/from work.
Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Must provide full work availability from May 19, 2025 through August 8, 2025 and be able to work 40 hours per week

Dependent on the internship offered, pay is based on factors, including without limitation, the applicant's level of education and business need.
